Job Summary

This role involves working as part of the APAC Finance Operations Team, closely collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include matching of payment received and processing cheques/telegraphic transfers, monthly reconciliation, and analysis of reports.

Job Duties

• Responsible for all day‑to‑day cash and banking procedures.
• Accounts Payable, including setting up payments in online banking systems.
• Ensure appropriate documentation and authorization for claims payments and general expense payments.
• Allocate claims payments in underwriting systems.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and accounting/audit schedules.
• Prepare operating expense journals (generated from online payment system) and post into the accounting ledger.
• Monitor cash balances and update cashbook/cheque register.
• Manage any GST related enquiries on accounts payable.
• Prepare month‑end journals.
• Handle internal and external enquiries relating to payments.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements.
• Respond to audit enquiries.
• Perform ad‑hoc administrative duties and projects as assigned.
