Job summary

A leading design firm in Singapore is seeking a Finance Executive to manage daily financial operations, ensure compliance with local laws, and handle audits. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 7 years of relevant experience. Strong English communication skills and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP are essential. This role demands leadership abilities and a proactive approach to financial management.

  • Manage daily finance works including GL, AP, AR, RV, PV, JV, Fixed Asset.
  • Ensure Local Financial Statutory Compliance including local FRS/IFRS, Audit and Taxation.
  • Prepare all balance sheets, bank reconciliations, PL accounts, cash flow reports.
  • Effectively communicate with overseas office in English.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The executive shall perform tasks that may include but not limited to:

  • To manage daily finance works including: GL, AP, AR, RV, PV, JV, Fixed Asset, Intercompany transactions, Cash moving in and out, document control. (AR Reconciliation, RV Cash application, Month End GL, JV entries)
  • To submit VAT, withholding tax, half-year & year ended taxation, documents control.
  • Ensure Local Financial Statutory Compliance including local FRS/IFRS, Audit and Taxation.
  • To prepare 100% of all balance sheets, bank reconciliations, PL accounts, cash flow working report and group consolidation report before closing
  • Torecheck report bank reconciliation and all accounting record.
  • To prepare and perform ad-hoc reports/information requested from time to time.
  • To ensure that yearly statutory audits & local tax filling are completed within the deadlines.
  • To prepare necessary audit schedules and documents required for group audit and consolidation purposes.
  • Effectively communicate with overseas office in English
  • Dealing with Auditor & Tax agent
  • Working with business partners, technical teams, project managers and other teams to identify and deliver projects to drive expansion, free cashflow, and improved customer experience with dotted line reporting to Director of Projects in SG
  • Overseeing billing and fee management in the region and work closely with Studio Directors, Project Managers to ensure accurate project accounting
  • Managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, overhead expense budget and productivity projections
  • Reviewing customer and vendor contracts and provide appropriate feedback regarding business terms, as required
  • Weekly AR /Billing & Collection forecast
Candidate Qualification:-
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in finance with proven track record
  • Good command of speaking and writing in English.
  • Good Communication (Mandarin would be a plus)
  • Previous experience in consultant company, service provider or property development would be added advantages
  • Experience with accounting software and any international ERP (SAP) system is a must
  • Experience with accounting software (Zoho) would be an advantage
  • Hands-on and self-managed
  • Good personality, interpersonal and leadership skills and positive thinking
