A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a finance professional to oversee employee-related financial processes and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and supporting budget preparation. Oversee monthly employee-related financial and statutory processes for local and foreign employees
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across HR, payroll, and accounting functions.
Finance & Accounting Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including fund flow to vendors and collections from customers.
Process and verify supplier and customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Issue monthly invoices via Ariba and Coupa, ensuring alignment with approved timesheets and billing compliance.
Handle monthly invoice processing with accuracy and efficiency
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and reconcile accounts regularly.
Monitor expenses and ensure proper classification and recording in accordance with accounting standards.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and tax filings.
Prepare and monitor budgets and financial reports, providing support for management decision-making.
Address account-related inquiries from internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients in a timely manner.
Administrative & Operational Support:
Coordinate airside safety courses, permit applications, and insurance claims.
Support the finance team with reporting, reconciliations, and ad-hoc tasks as required.
Assist the Managing Director with tender preparation, financial analysis, and general administrative duties.
