Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
  • Experience working with the public sector clients, including government/research institutes/education entities in Singapore.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in the region.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working with customer engineers and customer technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.
  • Experience promoting software solutions to research institutes clients.
  • Experience with business and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Experience promoting cloud solutions, and AI solutions, and aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience growing existing customer base and acquiring new logos, to increase spend and accelerate consumption business growth.
  • Experience growing relationships and influencing executives.

You will leverage experience engaging with executives to build on existing relationships, establish relationships in new areas, and serve as a business partner to understand the customer's challenges and goals. You will advocate the power of the products and solutions to make public organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile. Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with public sector customers in the research industry to influence their long-term technology and business decisions. Add value as an advisor.
  • Be an expert on the public sector research industry customers business, including leveraging our AI product portfolio (e.g., Vertex AI to improve their research productivity and capabilities).
  • Lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners, to improve business impact within Public Sector customers.
  • Manage business cycles, presenting to executives and negotiating terms.
  • Drive business development, own operational excellence, forecast, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
