Family Physician (Family & Community Medicine)

Family Group: Medical

The Family and Community Medicine department provides holistic personalised care for our staff and patients. We are seeking family physicians who are experienced in managing complex care patients. You will be leading a multidisciplinary team to address the healthcare needs of hospital patients with multiple medical conditions as their primary coordinating doctor, and play an integral role in promoting health, optimising medical conditions, and preventing fragmentation of care. This would include working in and with the community, as well as outpatient clinics. No calls are currently required.

Job Requirements

• Possess Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) (MMED) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) or equivalent qualification from one of the Universities/Medical Institutions listed in the Schedules of the Singapore Medical Council;
• Possess Fellowship of the College of Family Physicians (FCFP) qualification or applying for FCFP qualification;
• Fully registered under Singapore Medical Council;
• Accredited and registered into the Family Physician Accreditation Board (FPAB);
• Possess at least 2 years of working experience as a Family Physician (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline;
• Be in active clinical practice for the immediate past 3 years.
