Job Description

The Facility Maintenance Executive / Senior Technical Executive, Facilities Management serves as the frontline representative of the Managing Agent, working closely with schools and users to ensure that all Facilities Management (FM) services under the contract are properly executed and maintained to required standards.

This role supports the school in the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities, including routine servicing, corrective works, and infrastructure improvement projects. The incumbent will work closely with the Project Manager and project management team to ensure timely and effective delivery of FM services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Managing Agent and assigned schools/users for all FM-related matters.

  • Coordinate, plan, and programme maintenance visits, inspections, and servicing works.

  • Ensure all Facilities Management services are carried out in accordance with contractual requirements, SOPs, and safety standards.

  • Support and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for building services and facilities.

  • Assist in the implementation of Infrastructure Improvement Works (IIW) together with the Project Manager/project team.

  • Monitor contractors’ performance and ensure works are completed on time and to quality standards.

  • Prepare reports, follow up on defects, and support audit or inspection requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, regulatory, and school safety requirements.

Job Requirements

Candidates should meet one of the following criteria:

  • At least 3 -5 years of experience in similar capacity
Additional Requirements
  • Experience working in school, institutional, or public-sector environments is an advantage.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with building services, maintenance scheduling, and contractor management.
  • Able to work independently and respond promptly to operational issues.
