Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, storage and issuance of engineering and facilities materials, equipment, tools and critical spare parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using digital systems or manual logs, and conduct regular stock checks to identify low or expired items.
• Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors to ensure timely replenishment of essential materials.
• Support daily facility inspections, basic troubleshooting and first‑level fault identification and reporting.
• Monitor, record and document key operational readings from building and engineering systems such as temperature, pressure and flow rates.
• Assist in implementing workplace safety controls during maintenance and contractor activities, including Permit‑to‑Work and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
• Ensure work areas are maintained in a safe condition and support safety drills, inspections and audits.
• Report near‑miss incidents or safety concerns and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist with the installation, setup and testing of new equipment or facility infrastructure.
• Maintain facility documentation including maintenance logs, checklists, PTW forms and service reports.
• Assist contractors and vendors on site and ensure compliance with site safety and operational requirements.
• Carry out minor repairs, fixture replacements and workspace setup tasks as required.
• Respond to facility fault reports such as power trips, HVAC issues and system alarms.
• Support general facility operations including housekeeping, waste management and pest control coordination.

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in technical facility operations.
