Job summary

A local charitable organization in Singapore seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, regulatory inspections, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in facilities management and knowledge of IT infrastructure. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to our mission of supporting the community.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience in building and facilities management.
  • IT infrastructure knowledge and skills are advantageous.
  • Experience in energy storage and/or solar system projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair works for onsite cyclical works.
  • Manage regulatory inspections and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee the procurement process and documentation of operating procedures.

Responsibilities


  • Assist the Senior Executive, Facilities on coordination of maintenance and repair works for onsite cyclical works.

  • Follow up on regulatory inspections and reporting e.g., NEA, EMA, SCDF etc and conduct workplace safety and fire related matters for all staff at Cheshire

  • Ensure that necessary PPE equipment is complete and easily accessible

  • Liaise with regulatory agencies e.g., NEA for onsite inspections for pests

  • Work with outsourced vendors for cleaning services

  • Work with external outsourced IT vendors for firewalls and other IT matters

  • Manage Fixed assets recordings, sightings and disposals.

  • Assist in facilities-related projects, Cyclical maintenance and energy saving projects.

  • Support Senior Facilities executive in procurement process and documentation of operating procedures

  • Weekly inspection of premises for repairs and water usage monitoring


Qualifications and Work Experience


  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience in building and facilities management

  • IT infrastructure knowledge and skills will be advantageous

  • Some experience in energy storage and/or solar system projects will be advantageous
