Job Description & Requirements
The supervisor will oversee all aspects of the foodcourt / coffeeshop in accordance with operation standards. He/she will implement and maintain high standards of F&B service set by the management.
Foodcourt / Coffeeshop Operations
- 1. In charge of opening/closing duties and ensure that all settings are completed according to standards and procedures prior to the start and closure of operations.
- 2. Manage junior employees and part timers and to ensure that all tasks assigned in the foodcourt / coffeeshop are carried out on time and according to instructions and standards.
- 3. Manage customer reservations/cancellations in accordance to departmental standards.
- 4. Take food and beverage orders according to customer’s requirements and preferences. Able to provide customers with a personalized dining experience.
- 5. Must be able to up-sell and promote food and beverage offers to maximize sales revenue.
- 6. Manage & ensure the cleanliness of the foodcourt / coffeeshop with the help of the team.
- 7. Ensure necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) are taken at all times.
- 8. In charge of stock ordering and stock check. The supervisor must ensure that all inventory are in order and to report any discrepancy to the management.
- 9. Need to manage customer complaints and feedback tactfully and effectively. Any complaints, incidents or other irregularities need to be reported to management.
- 10. Able to supervise and oversee operations independently with minimal involvement from the management.
