Sales Export Manager (Metal Recycling Industry)

Job Responsibilities

As a Sales Export Manager, you will be responsible for driving export sales and expanding our market presence in the metal recycling sector. Your main duties include:

  • Develop and implement export sales strategies to grow business in the metal recycling industry.
  • Identify and establish new business opportunities with overseas buyers, distributors, and trading partners.
  • Manage end-to-end export processes including quotation, negotiation, contract preparation, and order execution.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs requirements.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies in the recycling and metals sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews to management.
  • Work closely with internal teams (operations, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth execution of export sales.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of proven sales/export experience, preferably in the metal recycling, commodities, or trading industry.
  • Strong understanding of international trade practices, Incoterms, shipping documentation, and export regulations.
  • Knowledge of the metal recycling market, materials, and global demand trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to travel overseas for business development and trade meetings when required.
  • Independent, results-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
