Your role and responsibilities
Job Summary
IBM’s Experience Strategy & Design global offering organization seeks an accomplished Experience Design Consultant (Associate Partner) to help clients identify envision and execute AI experiences that drive exceptional user experiences and business outcomes. Based in Singapore and reporting to a regional Partner, this pivotal role is a key member of a 3-person, regional squad focused on driving pipeline and sales of AI experience transformations similar to IBM’s own "client zero" transformation journey. Since the role is isolated from the other team members in a major market (Singapore), the candidate needs to be a self-starter, self-sufficient in producing content and pursuing client opportunities (with entrepreneurial instincts), and a seasoned relationship and connection builder. The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:
- Sales experience (including senior client relationships)
- Exceptional analytical and strategic abilities
- Deep knowledge of the emerging AI industry (including the value proposition, use cases, competitive landscape, risks and benefits, and low-code/no-code Agent builder frameworks)
- Service design skills with experience developing digital products and services for brands
- Preferably a background in experience design (UI/UX, content creation, etc.)
- Deep experience in creating solutions for at least one enterprise domain: Marketing, HR, Finance, Operations, IT, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Generating actionable insights that can be turned into impactful experiences derived from market research and analysis
- Developing persuasive POVs on the business value of AI and importance of exceptional user experiences — particularly those targeting high-level executives like CEOs and COOs.
- Pioneer ways to design with AI as well as design for AI experiences
- Open doors through IBM’s Client Zero transformation journey to demonstrate proven success and drive client AI transformations
- Leads and advises end-to-end domain AI transformations with functional depth
- Architects AI- and platform-enabled solutions for clients
- Manages delivery teams and key client relationships
- Support early-stage opportunities by shaping deals, crafting transformation narratives, and building pipeline
- Co-create early-stage pursuits with the Geo team to articulate the transformation vision and Client Zero story.
- Supplement markets/geos with key strategic skills or delivery leadership for first-of-a-kind programs
- Support cross-offering integration and thought leadership across the Strategy & Transformation service line.
- Feed learnings and outcomes from engagements to the Offering Team for codification and GTM alignment.
- Self-directed sales pursuits, relationship building, IBM business operations, and content creation
- Collaboration with global offering team to harvest and codify content and strategic frameworks that can be repurposed.
Required technical and professional expertise
Required experience:
To excel in this multifaceted capacity, candidates need experience orchestrating people, process, and platforms:
- At least 15 years of hands-on exposure in Customer/Employee Experience Strategy and Design roles with proficiency in human-centered design methodologies like Design Thinking and Agile.
- Demonstrable command of essential skill sets including research, data analysis, experience design (UI/UX), change management and use of modern AI tools for driving productivity in the design process.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills enabling seamless coordination amidst a large, global organization with diverse objectives yet bound together via a shared mission.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally assuming requisite safety measures.
- Proficient in 3rd party AI tools to continuously find ways to increase productivity
