Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a fitness professional to assess clients' fitness levels and design tailored training programs. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, adapt exercises for individual needs, and educate clients on safe techniques. The role involves both one-on-one and group sessions, ensuring a motivating environment. A minimum Diploma or Degree in Sports Science is preferred. The position operates Monday to Friday with half-day Saturday hours.

  • Maintain professional communication with clients and support networks.
  • Provide 1:1 or group training sessions in a safe environment.
  • Educate clients about movement techniques to prevent injury.
  • Monitor progress and adjust fitness programs to meet goals.
  • Ensure use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Implement safety protocols and respond to emergencies.
  • Stay updated on best practices for adaptive training.

Education

Job description
Duties:
  • Assess clients’ fitness levels, physical abilities and limitations through consultations and evaluations.
  • Design and implement customised programs focused on improving strength, cardiovascular fitness and endurance, mobility and overall health.
  • Adapt exercises and equipment usage to accommodate clients’ needs (including physical, sensory or cognitive challenges).
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals, clients and caregivers to align fitness programs with therapeutic plans.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with clients and their available support networks.
  • Provide 1:1 or 1:group training sessions while ensuring a safe and motivating environment.
  • Educate clients about proper techniques, postures and movement to prevent injury.
  • Monitor progress, adjust fitness programs as needed to meet evolving goals.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Implement safety protocols and respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Stay updated on best practices for adaptive training to minimize risk and maximise client outcomes.
Working hours:

Mon-Fri, Sat (Sat half day) Office hours

Requirements:
