Job summary

A leading operations management company in Singapore is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily workshop and operations activities. This role requires a diploma in Management or a related field and strong proficiency in MS Office. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage tasks proactively under pressure. Responsibilities include developing operational policies, troubleshooting IT issues, and coordinating with service providers to maintain infrastructure.

Job description
Key responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the daily operations of the workshop and operations departments
  • Support Operations in the execution of daily operational activities
  • Recognize operational issues and emergencies and ensure they are promptly attended to and rectified.
  • Ensure that company policies and SOPs are abided by the staff.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and schemes that enhance operational efficiency and maximize profits.
  • Basic IT technical support
  • Monitor and follow up on the yearly maintenance works for the workshop equipment and diagnostic hardware to ensure compliance with the audit requirements.
  • To support/troubleshoot to resolve onsite technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, email, network connectivity, and software applications/issues, and helpdesk for the SAP system, perform systems backup and recovery
  • To support in maintaining information technology needs and systems, including hardware and software installation, configuration, upgrading, and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with service providers on the maintenance of servers and the company's network infrastructure
  • To support in maintaining office equipment, e.g., security camera, door access, and the telephone system
  • Plan and liaise with vendors on scheduling and execution of system deployment
  • Procurement and recording of company assets
Job requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Management/Business & Administration or any other related field, proven work experience in Operations management
  • Proficient in MS Office and the ability to communicate via email.
  • Possess strong verbal and written skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • Good planning and management skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to multitask and work under pressure
  • Good working attitude and can work independently
