Job Description

The candidate will work closely with Director (Strategy, Partnerships, and Technology Translation) and Manager (Admin Lead) and support the day-to-day administration and execution of partnership engagements, outreach events, communications, and technology transfer at CFI.

The candidate will cover the following roles:

  • Partnership Engagement and Operations
    • Support the execution of partnership engagement and outreach activities as planned with Director (Strategy, Partnerships, and Technology Translation).
    • Organise and facilitate partner engagement activities such as dialogue sessions or host visits to strengthen network and explore new collaboration opportunities.
    • Coordinate administrative processes and documentation of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), and Research Collaboration Agreements (RCAs), working with relevant NUS entities.
    • Coordinate communications, follow-ups, and discussion sessions with industrial partners and other organisations to build strong network.
    • Support the collection of feedback from industry partners regarding their experiences with CFI and assist in enhancing partnership administration processes.
  • Outreach Events and Communications
    • Organise and coordinate CFI outreach events such as CFI Annual Symposium, workshops and seminars to showcase CFI's research to a broader audience.
    • Working closely with different Principal Investigators (PIs) in CFI, assist in the development and management of social media channels, website content, and digital newsletters to keep stakeholders informed about ongoing research, events, and new partnership opportunities.
    • Support CFI's communication efforts, including outreach activities, and coordinate with stakeholders on publications, presentations, and other materials that promote CFI's research and achievements.
    • Prepare case studies, success stories, and testimonials that showcase CFI's work.
  • Technology Translation and IP Management
    • Support technology translation and IP-related activities, including coordination of documentation and administrative processes related to patenting, licensing, and commercialisation.
    • Use insights from IP analysis to identify potential white spaces, advising on research focus areas that have strong commercialization potential.
    • Assist in technology translation activities, agreement preparation, IP management in CFI.
Job Requirements
  • Possess a bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a relevant role, such as strategy, partnerships, project coordination, or technology commercialization (previous positions in academic environments and deep science fields would be a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle complex, ambiguous, and challenging situations and comfortable with change in a fluid environment within an evolving organisation
  • Familiarity with project management resources and tools
  • Must have an advanced application of MS Office Suite (CRM, Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
  • Hands-on, analytical, empathetic, creative, passionate professional committed to ongoing progress.
