Job summary

A leading medical education institution in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a multifaceted role involving marketing, event management, and administrative support. You will coordinate marketing strategies, manage events, and provide high-quality support across teams. Ideal applicants should have a degree in marketing communications or equivalent with skills in communication and organization. Experience is preferred but entry-level candidates may be considered. This role is located at Outram Campus.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in a related discipline (Marketing Communications).
  • Entry-level candidates or Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Competent in both verbal and written communications.
  • Meticulous, organised, and able to convey complex information clearly.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and familiar with digital marketing tools.

Established at Duke-NUS in 2014, the Centre of Regulatory Excellence (CoRE) serves as a regional platform dedicated to advancing regulatory science and health policy, with a mission to grow competencies, build capacity, and promote thought leadership by fostering strong networks and collaborations across Asia.

This dynamic and multifaceted role involves a combination of marketing, content and social media creation, event management, and administrative support to groups and committees. The role is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of marketing initiatives, facilitating engaging and impactful events, and providing high-quality administrative support across multiple teams.

Marketing & Communications
  • Support comprehensive market research to gather insights to inform and enhance content and outreach strategies aimed at target audiences.
  • Support and manage integrated marketing strategies and messaging across multiple channels, ensuring consistency, and compelling messaging aligned with CoRE’s brand voice.
  • Administer and monitor social media platforms, ensuring that content is regularly updated, engagement is tracked, and communication is maintained with followers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain mailing lists, ensuring that they are current, segmented appropriately, and optimised for targeted communication.
Event Management
  • Through independent thinking and initiative, coordinate the planning, and execution of both virtual and in-person events, ensuring each event aligns with organisational goals and target audience needs.
  • Handle event logistics including venue selection, coordinating with vendors, securing necessary approvals, and managing budgets to ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders to ensure the successful planning and implementation of events, such as webinars, seminars, conferences, roundtables and focus groups.
  • Independently update and manage bespoke Gantt charts and maintaining up-to-date organised event documentation in the dropbox.
  • Oversee attendee registration, providing clear communication and support to participants before, during, and after the event.
  • Track and report on event success metrics, including attendance, participant feedback, and post-event engagement.
Secretariat Support
  • Provide high-level administrative support as the liaison to the Health Regulation Group (HRG), APAC Network and the Regulatory Harmonization Steering Committee (RHSC).
  • Organise and schedule meetings, including webinars, seminars, roundtables, and focus groups, ensuring logistical needs are met.
  • Prepare and distribute detailed meeting agendas and related documents, ensuring timely distribution to relevant stakeholders via mailing lists and websites.
  • Ensure comprehensive record-keeping of all meetings and communications while maintaining a clear and organised filing system.
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent in a related discipline (Marketing Communications).
  • Entry-level candidates or Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Candidates with experience can be considered for higher designations.
  • Background in Science and work experiences in a research/ academic environment would be advantageous.
  • Competent in both verbal and written communications to craft good statements, pitches, narratives, and stories.
  • Meticulous, organised, and mindful about information accuracy, and able to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications. Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/In Design/Premiere Pro/ Canva) is beneficial. Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems would be advantageous.
  • Have good interpersonal skills and able to effectively multi-task and perform well under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
