Responsibilities

The role is to provide all areas of support in planning, organising, implementing and overseeing of overall running and execution of programmes, services and activities as well as volunteer resource of the Centre.

  • Plan, co-ordinate and implement programmes and services according to identified plans that enhance the re-integration potential of released inmates.
  • Engage and collaborate with stake-holders, individual volunteers and corporate partners to maximise resources and to execute the programme and services to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Assist in developing structures and processes for collection and collation of information on programmes and service utilisation by beneficiaries with purpose of evaluating its outputs and outcomes.
  • Assist in generating monthly and quarterly reports on programmes and services to management, corporate and individual donors, partners and volunteers.
  • To assist in recruiting, orientating and supporting volunteers in their role of journeying with released inmates and their families.
  • To manage and coordinate volunteers to undergo identified and appropriate training and development courses that are in alignment to SPS and Centre's training plan.
  • To assist Programme Manager to develop platforms or structures to ensure that the well-being of volunteers is taken care of and that they are duly recognised for their effort of supporting beneficiaries.
  • Assist in fund-raising initiatives especially in planning and organising events involving external stake-holders, corporate partners, volunteers and community.
  • Support and assist the operation of faith-related work of the Centre both inside and outside the prisons.

Other Information
Working Hours

A 5-day work week and with a total work hours of 44 hours per week.

Under normal circumstances, the hours of duty will be as follows:

9am to 6pm on four work days on weekdays, and one full day on Sunday.

You are required to observe a 44-hour work week but with flexibility in managing the daily schedule as required by the operational needs of the program, and in responding to the needs of released prisoners. Hence, some evening, weekend and public holiday work might be required.
