Location: Jurong Spring Nursing Home

Working Hours: Mon-Fr, 8.30am-6pm

must be okay to work on Sat when there is event, will have a weekday off in leiu if activated

Job Description

The incumbent will help maintain and expand the network with community partners, corporates, and other social and community services to support the organization's needs. Spearhead, conceptualize, and implement volunteer programs/activities to ensure the delivery of quality service will meet the needs of the residents in a nursing home.

  • Managing all elements of volunteering within the organization
  • Recruitment of volunteers
  • Identify ways to sustain and improve partnered initiatives to build relationships to support the department's needs
  • Able to develop and maintain networks and partnerships with various community partners
  • Monitor, evaluate, and accredit volunteers
  • Track and update records and maintain a database of volunteers and partners to ensure critical information is captured for timely submission
  • Plan, organize, and roll out activities and programs accordingly to support resident's social needs
  • Provide support in any other tasks as assigned
  • May be required to work on Saturdays whenever required
Requirements
  • Min Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Social Work, Gerontology, or Service Sector disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare settings/community partnership/community services
