Executive Procurement (Supply Chain Management)
    You will be serving as an Executive Procurement (Supply Chain Management) based in Mumbai (Andheri) with occasional travel to manufacturing sites. Your compensation and perks will be competitive, aligning with industry standards. Reporting directly to the President of Supply Chain Management or as designated by him, you will play a crucial role in enhancing supply chain planning and execution efficiency to achieve higher service levels while minimizing inventory.Your responsibilities will include ensuring procurement processes adhere to company policies and procedures, selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships. You will develop a procurement plan based on historical data and future trends, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Collaboration with internal stakeholders like engineers and HODs will be essential to identify procurement needs and maintain plant operations seamlessly. Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders such as suppliers and internal teams will also be part of your duties.Monitoring vendor performance, identifying areas for improvement, coordinating with Quality Management and ISO documentation teams, and participating in sustainability initiatives are key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will work closely with all stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of raw materials, visit factories as needed, and contribute to import-export documentation and MIS preparation.Ideal candidates will hold a B.Sc Graduate degree (preferred) or any Graduate with a PGDM/MBA in Supply Chain Management. Experience in chemical procurement is advantageous, along with a strong grasp of industry best practices, communication clarity, and proactive vendor sourcing and development skills. Proficiency in negotiation, spoken English, vendor evaluation, and rating, as well as analytical and documentation abilities, are also desirable qualities.
