Job summary

Candidates should have a degree in Engineering, Science, or Business, with 1-2 years of procurement experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities
  • Formulate, execute and track sourcing strategies to support categories like Facility Mechanical and Electrical systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, HVAC, Electrical switchgears etc), Utilities (Water, Gas, Electricity), Waste Treatment and Indirect materials (Chemical, Gases, Fuel, Lubricants etc)

  • Management of repair and maintenance cost, category spend/contracts (Operational Expenditure, OPEX) and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) to ensure operating with optimal cost/within budget.

  • Managing of projects relating to cost reduction, productivity improvement and towards sustainability (Green) eg Energy savings machines/equipment, Solar, Power Purchase Agreement-PPA, Renewable Energy Certificates, Carbon Credits etc.

  • Liaise closely with internal and external business units to meet operations requirements.

  • Ensure compliance to corporate policies and internal guidelines.

  • Review specifications and consolidate of quotations/tender documentations.

  • Negotiate with vendors/contractors to ensure "best value of money" buys are executed via transparent purchasing process.

  • End to End procurement engagement (i.e. Vendor selection, scope definition, Request For Information (RFI), / Request for Tender (RFT) / Request for Quotation (RFQ), contracting, post award management).

  • Support and manage daily operations like timely contracts renewal, high catalog usage management, vendors' performance management.

  • Review of Purchasing Request/Order (PR/PO) in compliance to Purchasing Approval Matrix

  • Ensure all purchases are adhering to procurement policies, casino regimes and SOPs.

  • Ensure strict compliance to Safety and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) aspect in all sourcing processes.

  • Support team in yearly strategic planning through data analytics & deriving of strategic actions.

  • Identify and work on projects relating to cost reduction, productivity improvement and towards sustainability (Green).

  • Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholder to vet through and negotiate contracts and/or Service Level Agreements ("SLA")

  • Achieve targeted cost savings at Company/team level.

Requirements
  • Degree with Engineering / Science / Business

  • 1-2 yrs. of procurement experience (preferably in hospitality industry)

  • Conversant in procurement processes (RFQ/RFT/RFI) and contracts administration

  • High sense of accountability and self-motivation

  • Entrepreneurial (i.e. Strategic and Critical thinking and good business acumen)

  • Team player with Project management and Problem-solving skills

  • Proven stakeholder management (i.e. Negotiations/ Influencing ability)

  • Ability to work in dynamic work environment with large number of requestors base

  • Knowledge in SAP/ Ariba S2P (Source to Pay) and/or Reverse Auction tool is a plus
