Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented executive officer to support our finance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible in handling accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, record-keeping, and reconciliations.

Job Description:

Data entry
  • Timely keying in of AR receipts, GIRO bank receipts and petty cash in ACCPAC
Administration
  • Maintainingreceiptsand invoiceregister
  • Reviewingof fund transfers andapproval
  • Timelyfiling of company fund transfers
  • Maintainingof fixed assetregister
  • Maintainingof grantsand agreements
  • Preparation ofdebitnotes andinvoices
  • Petty cash custodian
  • IPC and matching grant submissions
Accounting
  • Adjustment GL ledger voucher
  • Fund raising receipt reconciliation
  • Preparation of financial statements monthly
  • Assist in preparation of monthly management company report presentations and quarterly group management report presentations
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant working experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Use of accounting software (ACCPAC or similar)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work independently
