Event Operations Manager (Singapore-Based Role | Malaysia Candidates Welcome)

Work Location: Singapore (events & activations)

Salary: SGD 3,500-3,700 / month

Employment Type: Contract / Full-time

Start Date: Immediate

Additional Requisites
  • Must communicate in Chinese fluently
  • Comfortable working in hands‑on startup with DIY
  • Able to work night shifts after 10pm till morning at times but to claim off days
  • Requires some light travelling 3 times in a year during overseas MICE shows (China, Vietnam, Seoul, US etc)
  • Must work on 1st day of Chinese New Year, Christmas and New Year Countdown
Role Overview

We are hiring an Event Operations Manager to support and lead the execution of live events, mall activations, and branded campaigns in Singapore.

This role is suitable for mid‑level event professionals (3–5 years experience) who are comfortable handling operations independently, coordinating multiple parties, and managing live events onsite.

You will be responsible for ensuring events are properly prepared, clearly coordinated, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
Event Execution & Coordination

Manage day‑to‑day operations for assigned live events and activations.

Coordinate performers, AV teams, vendors, part‑takers, and venue contacts.

Ensure events start on time and follow approved schedules.

Operational Planning & Preparation

Prepare event run sheets, checklists, and operational plans.

Confirm reporting times, equipment readiness, AV setup, and props in advance.

Ensure all show‑critical items are verified before event day.

Onsite Operations

Act as onsite PIC for events.

Handle last‑minute changes and issues calmly and professionally.

Maintain smooth communication between all stakeholders onsite.

Team & Vendor Management

Brief and manage part‑time staff and crew.

Follow up to ensure instructions are understood and acknowledged.

Escalate issues early when risks are identified.

Client & Venue Liaison

Communicate professionally with malls, venues, and clients.

Ensure client expectations are met during live delivery.

Requirements
  • 3–5 years experience in event management or event operations
  • Experience handling live events, activations, or productions
  • Strong organisational and follow‑up skills
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, live environments
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Willing to work onsite in Singapore
Preferred Experience

  • Working with performers, entertainers, or AV teams
  • Managing multiple events concurrently
