You will bridge the gap between emerging technologies and practical applications, supporting the scaling of innovative solutions across HDB projects. Through HDB’s Cool Ideas Enterprise (CIE) programme, you will collaborate with enterprises to co‑develop solutions aimed at addressing HDB’s challenges.

What you will be working on

  • Facilitate Strategic Partnerships: Identify high‑potential enterprises and assist in evaluating their proposals and company profiles, reviewing their business plans to support their growth, ensure sustainability, and strengthen the innovation ecosystem.

  • Project Management: Track project progress, ensure milestones are met, manage budget utilisation, oversee submission and documentation processes for Cool Ideas Enterprise, and report on key metrics to ensure projects stay on track and within scope.

  • Build and Support the Enterprise Ecosystem: Set up and manage co‑working space to foster collaboration and innovation among enterprises. Provide avenues for enterprises to showcase their solutions through curated events and dedicated venues.

  • Collaborate with funding providers: Work closely with funding providers to leverage their initiatives and resources to foster enterprise development, drive innovation, and ensure the scalability and sustainability of solutions.

  • Perform Ageing Infrastructure Research: Conduct research on ageing infrastructure to identify improvement areas and develop innovative solutions for diagnosing, repairing, and mitigating issues related to ageing infrastructure.

  • Knowledge of the Built Environment sector, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in driving innovation and capability building.

  • Experience in project management, including tracking progress, managing budgets, ensuring timely submissions, and overseeing project milestones.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from internal project teams to external and industry partners.

  • Preferably, experience working with or supporting enterprises, particularly in innovation or technology development.
