Job description
Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands‑on Engineer / Senior Engineer to lead our cleanroom assembly operations for precision machining components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing jigs and fixtures using SolidWorks, developing assembly work instructions, driving process improvements, and leading the assembly team to ensure high‑quality, efficient, and consistent output. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership, and problem‑solving skills to address quality feedback and implement effective corrective actions.

1. Design & Engineering
  • Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling for cleanroom assembly and machining component processes using SolidWorks.
  • Support process design, assembly layout, and ergonomics improvements to optimize assembly efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with product design, machining, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and assembly feasibility.
2. Process & Documentation
  • Prepare and maintain Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and assembly checklists.
  • Define and document process flow, assembly sequence, and critical control points.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with cleanroom and ISO quality requirements.
3. Production & Team Leadership
  • Lead and guide the cleanroom assembly team in day‑to‑day operations.
  • Provide technical support and training to technicians and operators.
  • Plan and monitor assembly schedules to meet production targets and project deadlines.
4. Quality & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze and resolve assembly‑related quality issues based on customer or internal quality feedback.
  • Work closely with Quality and Machining teams to implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce rework, and increase assembly efficiency.
5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with design, machining, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration between component fabrication and cleanroom assembly.
  • Participate in design reviews, prototype builds, and process validations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in precision machining assembly or cleanroom manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in fixture and jig design using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.

  • Working Hours : 8.15am to 5.30pm (Mon‑Fri)
  • Location : Changi North
  • Company Bus : Pick up at Ang Mo Kio, Yishun, Hougang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Tampines MRT/Interchanges
