Job Summary

We are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Civil & Structural Engineer to manage ad hoc civil works. The role involves both technical supervision and contract administration, covering works such as fender systems, under-pipe replacements, and berth inspections. The ideal candidate should possess a good understanding of procurement procedures and be proficient in using the client’s Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) for billing and tracking purposes.

What You\'ll Do
  • Manage and oversee adhoc civil and structural maintenance works, including fender repair and replacement, under-pipe support and replacement, berth inspections, and related activities.
  • Prepare scope of works, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of works.
  • Administer procurement processes including application of Fixed Schedule of Rates (FSOR), preparation and verification of Final Bills of Quantities (FBQ), and evaluation of variation orders and claims.
  • Utilize the client\'s EAMS platform for billing, work tracking, and submission of supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards specific to the port environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, billing submissions, and contract documentation.
  • Support both engineering and commercial aspects of project execution.
Qualifications
