Site Energy Management
- Monitor energy performance and implement conservation measures.
- Conduct energy audits and prepare reports for management review.
- Lead the Energy Management team and drive improvement initiatives.
- Manage energy data according to ISO50001 and Digital Energy Management System (DEnMS).
- Collaborate with ESCO consultants on Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessment.
- Submit Energy Use Report (EUR) and Energy Efficiency Improvement Plan (EEIP) to NEA.
- Track energy cost/carbon savings and identify efficiency projects.
- Support sustainability projects across departments.
Utilities Management
- Oversee utilities systems and ensure high availability.
- Maintain utilities equipment through preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors.
- Track utilities performance and prepare monthly reports.
Plant Engineering
- Ensure reliability and compliance of plant equipment.
- Develop and optimize preventive maintenance strategies.
- Manage facility upkeep and technical troubleshooting.
- Support equipment selection/design and deliver small to medium projects.
CapEx & Project Management
- Develop and lead capital improvement projects from scope to commissioning.
- Manage contractors, project schedules, costs, and documentation.
- Ensure safety compliance, technical standards, and smooth handover.
Process Safety & Change Management
- Participate in HAZOP, QRA and safety reviews.
- Ensure adherence to Management of Change (MOC) procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry, with exposure to process/equipment optimization and project management.
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, 5S) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ASPEN PIMS, project management, and digital data analytics/tools (e.g., OEE, Testify).
- Strong ability to apply engineering and business principles to solve process issues.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and improvement.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills, including cross-regional collaboration.
- Good organizational and prioritization capabilities.
- Working knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to work on Jurong Island
