Job description

The Embassy of Hungary in Singapore is seeking a positive and motivated person to take up position of Driver.

The driver at the Embassy of Hungary in Singapore plays a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of diplomats, personnel, and materials. This role requires a professional with a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent service.

The candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties but not limited to as outlined below.

• Driving safely within Singapore as assigned
• Transportation of Embassy's diplomats, delegations and guests within the city and the surrounding areas
• Assistance and support to the Embassy Team whenever the need arises
• Maintenance of the Embassy’s official vehicles – cleaning, repairs, on-time servicing to meet safety standards, record-keeping of vehicle movements
• Manage and ensure petrol is filled and cash card balances are sufficient
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks when required
• Supporting routine and urgent dispatch work including errands
• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Executive Assistant to the Ambassador

Requirements

Valid Class 3 license with minimum 3 years experience with clean driving record

Responsible, punctual and reliable

Possess excellent road navigation skills

Physically fit, alert with sound knowledge of traffic and road safety regulations

Flexible and able to work outside office hours as and when required (night, weekend, Public Holiday)

Works well in a team

Good command of English

Good knowledge of everyday handyman skills

Basic computer navigation skills
