We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Electrochemist (Freshers with a yen for chemistry are welcome) to join our Electrochemical R&D Lab and contribute to our groundbreaking projects in the environmental industry.
As a Chemist in our R&D Lab at Aprisium, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and testing of novel water quality and contamination analysis technologies. Your responsibilities will primarily involve conducting laboratory experiments, analysing data, and collaborating with the senior research team to achieve project objectives. Method Development & Validation: Design, develop, and validate electrochemical, spectrophotometric, and wet-chemistry methods for real-time, at-source detection of contaminants across water and engineered fluid applications.
Analyser & Sensor Integration: Work closely with hardware, fluidics, and electronics teams to integrate chemical methods into autonomous, IoT-enabled analysers, ensuring robustness, repeatability, and field-readiness.
Testing, QC & Documentation: Define and execute laboratory and field testing protocols, calibration routines, and quality‑control procedures; maintain clear, auditable documentation aligned with internal standards and external validation needs.
Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement: Investigate anomalies, interferences, and performance drift in sensors and reagents; drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement in chemistry, processes, and materials.
Regulatory & Customer Support: Support certifications, pilots, and customer deployments by providing technical inputs, test data interpretation, and chemistry‑related insights to internal teams and external stakeholders.
