Electrician – Installation Works

Working days: 6day (8am-5pm)

Location: Ubi

Gross Salary: $1,800 - $2,500

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrician with a strong background in installation work for building and construction projects. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, able to work independently on site, and familiar with Singapore’s relevant electrical Codes of Practice and standards.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical installation work on construction or renovation projects.
• Nitec / relevant electrical trade certificate preferred.
• Able to work overtime and at project sites as required.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Singapore electrical Codes of Practice and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works for commercial/industrial/building projects, including: cable laying and termination, conduits, trunking and cable tray installation, installation of distribution boards (DBs), isolators, switches, sockets and lighting points.
• Read and interpret construction and electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and layout plans to execute work accurately.
• Prepare, route and secure cables according to drawings and site conditions, ensuring neatness and safety.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and rectification of electrical systems as required.
• Ensure all works comply with Singapore electrical standards and Codes of Practice.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers and other trades to complete work according to schedule.
• Follow site safety rules and company safety procedures at all times.
• Good practical skills in cable running, termination and installation of electrical fixtures and accessories.
