Job summary

A leading EV services company in Singapore is seeking a skilled team leader for EV charger installations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the electrical or EV industry, possess a valid Singapore driver’s license, and be able to effectively communicate in both English and Mandarin. Responsibilities include site assessments, team supervision, charger installations, and customer training.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in the electrical or EV industry.
• Possess a valid Class 3 / 3A Singapore driver’s license.
• EV Charger Equipment Specialist certification will be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and inspect customer premises.
• Operate company vehicle for transport to project sites.
• Lead and supervise a team of installers.
• Perform installation of EV chargers.
• Liaise with customers on installation day.
• Set up, configure, and test EV chargers.
• Educate customers on charger operation.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Site Assessment
   Conduct site visits and inspect customer premises to ensure readiness for EV charger installation.
2. Transport & Logistics
   Operate company vehicle to transport installers, tools, and equipment safely to and from project sites.
3. Team Leadership
   Lead and supervise a team of installers in executing EV charger installations according to company standards and regulations.
4. Charger Installation
   Perform installation of EV chargers, including mounting, wiring, and connection to power supply. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
5. Customer Coordination
   Liaise with customers on installation day, addressing queries and ensuring smooth handover upon completion.
6. Charger Setup & Testing
   Set up, configure, and test EV chargers, including performing firmware updates as required.
7. Customer Training
   Educate customers on charger operation and usage of the associated mobile application.
8. Documentation
   Complete and submit all required documentation, installation checklists, and compliance forms accurately.
9. Reporting
   Maintain detailed service logs and generate reports for management review.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the electrical or EV industry.
• Possess a valid Class 3 / 3A Singapore driver’s license.
• EV Charger Equipment Specialist certification will be a strong advantage.
• Able to communicate effectively with our diverse client base and stakeholders in both English and Mandarin.
