Job summary

Job description

Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the safe, compliant and reliable execution of all electrical maintenance activities by leading teams, enforcing standards and maintaining system integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all electrical maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable and compliant operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and applicable local and international electrical codes and standards.
• Manage and coordinate electrical technicians and contractors for installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting works.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks and toolbox meetings to promote safe and efficient maintenance execution.
• Review, approve and control electrical-related permits including isolations and excavations.
• Lead investigations into electrical incidents or abnormalities, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to develop, improve and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Participate in emergency response activities and perform assigned roles during incident situations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical or related process industries.
• Strong hands-on expertise in low and medium voltage electrical systems, motors, power transmission, earthing, lightning protection, CCTV, security systems and network communication equipment.
• Working knowledge of PLC systems – familiarity with DCS will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in supervising technicians and contractors whilst enforcing safety and quality standards
