Assistant Engineer / Process Engineer (Junior/Entry Level) – Manufacturing Engineering

Location: Full job details available. Typically responds within 3 days.

General Purpose/Scope (Full training provided): Support in process improvements, customer returns, cycle time reduction and scrap reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Process/Manufacturing Engineer to monitor and improve the process capability.
• Prepare design drawings / calculations / schematic diagrams for projects.
• Perform prescriptive based submissions to Fire Safety Department (FSD).
• Maintain Equipment Uptime, Productivity and CIP.
• In-charge of PM planning, Equipment Maintenance, and Parts Management.
• Maintain the existing PLC and SCADA system, build the new system, and troubleshoot for the control system and control panel.
• Assist engineer to maintain the PLC/SCADA system and support building new systems and troubleshooting.
• Be stationed at customer facilities to handle on-site quality issues.
• Maintain supplier quality portal and promote reduction of quality issues.
• Assist in tender preparation and quotations as required.
• The Project Engineer will be required to lead, manage and control all engineering related activities on the relevant Work Package to deliver on requirements.
• Planning / assign sub-contractors and manpower for maintenance work and project handover.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be a young graduate with a Mechanical / Materials Degree.
• Education & Training: Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering. (Full training provided). Junior/Entry Level Manufacturing Engineering welcome.
• Experience working on various industrial cases in APAC on: Failure Analysis, Forensic investigations, etc.
• The Equipment Associate Engineer (Backend) is responsible for maintaining and supporting backend equipment operations, including setup, repairs, and preventive actions.
• Within production strategy and guidelines, direct, plan, organize, develop & control all activities of the Production function to meet short-, medium- and long-term goals.
• The Assistant Engineer is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance work on communication systems.
• Coordinate and monitor site & documentation progress. Ensure quality control of work to meet client standards.

Compensation

$4,000 - $6,000 a month + allowances + variable bonus. Full-time, permanent position.
