Job description

We are seeking for a skilled Electrical Engineer. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and supervision of electrical systems for commercial interior fit-outs. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems into overall spatial design.

Responsibilities:

• Review and design electrical system drawings and specifications for commercial interior fit‑outs, covering lighting, power distribution, control systems, and related mechanical & electrical (M&E) elements.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, project managers, and contractors to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall spatial design.
• Ensure designs comply with Singapore’s building regulations, safety codes, and industry best practices.
• Supervise and inspect electrical installation work on-site; test and commission systems to guarantee functionality and safety.
• Evaluate technical submittals, single‑line diagrams, and procurement documentation for materials and equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during construction and revisions, coordinating closely with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with M&E subcontractors to uphold schedules, budget, and quality of execution.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years experience in M&E, construction, or interior fit‑out environments.
• Reading drawings, coordinating systems, managing on-site electrical work.
• Comfortable reading single‑line diagrams and test packs, with the ability to produce and evaluate technical documentation.
• Familiarity with healthcare or specialised commercial fit‑outs (e.g., retail, airport) is a bonus.
• Registration (or eligibility) with Professional Engineers Board Singapore is an advantage.
