  • Industry/ Organization Type: Calibration Service Provider
  • Position Title: Electrical and Instrumentation Technician
  • Working Location: West – Tuas (Company transport provided – Island wide) or North – Sembawang (Company transport provided from MRT to the company)
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic Up to SGD 7000 + AWS + OT Pay
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electrical and instrumentation systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, instrumentation, and control equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and instrumentation faults in a timely manner to minimize downtime
  • Ensure optimal performance of critical systems, such as HVAC, temperature controls, flow meters, pressure sensors, and PLC/SCADA systems
  • Conduct routine calibration of instruments to meet GMP and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and repair activities for audits and compliance requirements
  • Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical and instrumentation equipment
  • Verify system performance and integration with manufacturing processes
  • Provide technical support to production and engineering teams to address system-related issues
  • Recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and energy efficiency
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and critical failures to minimize disruptions
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) protocols during work activities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including GMP, HSE, and company-specific guidelines
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures when needed
