Job summary

A fast-growing European Company in Singapore seeks a Global Finance Controller. You will report directly to the global CFO, focusing on consolidation, statutory reporting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting, 10+ years in finance, preferably from the energy or trading sector, and must demonstrate strong interpersonal and technical accounting skills. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the HQ, providing key performance reports and internal audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of work experience, preferably in the energy or trading sector.
• Prior Big 4 audit experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Company

Our client is a fast-growing European Company in the commodity trading sector. They have expanded with global footprint and looking to expand their presence into Asia market. With ambitious growth plan ahead, they are partnering with us to look for a hands-on Global Finance Controller to overlook their global reporting, financial analysis and internal control.

About the Role

Reporting to global CFO directly, you will cover a global finance role in the area of consolidation, statutory reporting, internal audit, and tax matters. Also, you will be involved in management reporting and financial analysis. On top of which, you will be the main point of contact to liaise directly with HQ to submit key performance reports.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting and Finance
• CPA / ACCA is a plus
• Prior Big 4 audit experience highly preferred
• Minimum 10 years of work experience, with ideal industry relevancy from energy / trading sector
• Highly independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and technical expertise in accounting are essential
