With programmes spanning Pop Vocals, Show Choir, Hip-Hop & K-Pop Combo, Musical Theatre, and Preschool Sing & Dance, we believe in developing every child’s artistic potential through a structured yet fun and engaging curriculum.
We are expanding our Preschool & Early Childhood Division and are looking for passionate, energetic, child-friendly instructors to join our growing team.
The Early Childhood Dance & Sing & Dance Programme Instructor is responsible for teaching, inspiring, and nurturing young children aged 3 to 6 years old through engaging Sing-&-Dance curriculum, foundational rhythm work, basic dance techniques, and early music movement concepts.
This role requires someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children, understands early childhood development, and can create a safe, joyful, and educational environment.
Conduct Preschool Dance and Sing & Dance classes (3–6 years old) using age-appropriate, engaging methodologies.
Teach foundational dance skills: coordination, balance, rhythm, musicality, spatial awareness, and movement confidence.
Teach early vocal techniques: pitch exploration, breathing basics, simple melodies, rhythmic chants, and creative sound play.
Deliver weekly curriculum with consistency, positivity, and strong classroom management.
Lead warm-ups, stretch routines, music-and-movement exercises, choreography, and performance-based activities.
Prepare students for internal showcases, holiday camps, open houses, and concerts.
Contribute ideas to the Preschool & Early Childhood syllabus.
Help design creative choreographies and interactive movement games that keep children excited.
Provide feedback to the team on how to further enhance lesson flow and child engagement.
Assist in the creation of age-appropriate showcase pieces and class demonstrations.
Create a fun, nurturing and safe learning environment.
Manage classroom behaviour and transitions effectively.
Adapt teaching approaches for children with different learning speeds and personalities.
Build positive rapport with young children, helping them gain confidence and joy in movement and singing.
Communicate progress updates with parents when needed.
Assist in parent engagement events, trial classes, holiday programmes and open houses.
Represent MADDspace professionally and warmly.
Take attendance, track class progress, and update teachers/management when support is needed.
Assist during events: showcases, concerts, competitions, and promotional activities.
Work closely with the management, teaching department, and operations team to ensure programme success.
Background in Dance, Early Childhood Education, Musical Theatre, Performing Arts or related fields.
Prior experience teaching young children (Preschool, Kindergarten, Enrichment Centres, or Studio Settings) is preferred.
Strong musicality, rhythm, and movement coordination.
Ability to sing simple melodies confidently (vocal finesse not required, but pitch accuracy is important).
Enjoys being around young children – high patience, warmth, and positive energy.
Passionate about working with children aged 3–6.
Creative, expressive, nurturing, and energetic.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Team player with a willingness to contribute ideas and support studio initiatives.
Responsible, punctual, and committed.
