Job summary

A leading architectural firm in Singapore is seeking a Technical Draftsperson to prepare and submit shop drawings, support the project team with AutoCAD, and manage drawing revisions. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in design, proficiency in AutoCAD, and excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin. This role involves both office and site responsibilities, focusing on delivering high-quality drawings for commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial and residential projects will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of drawing preparation & organization.
• Ability to follow up on approvals for submitted drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit shop drawings/as-built drawings to client.
• Revise drawings and layout for project enhancements.
• Support project team with technical delivery using AutoCAD.

Skills

Proficient in AutoCAD

Proficient in REVIT

Proficient in BIM

Proficient in Sketchup

Good verbal communication skills in Mandarin

Education

Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia

• Preparation and submission of shop drawings/as-built drawings to client and follow up on approval of drawings
• Incharge of all drawings development required by the project
• Supporting the Project Team with technical delivery using AutoCAD
• Revise drawings and layout to accommodate changes and enhancements
• Attend site meeting when required
• Other adhoc duties assign by superior
• Candidate will be station at office and site to support all projects

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM, Sketchup & etc
• Good knowledge of drawing preparation & organization
• Experience in commercial and residential projects will be an advantage
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent
• Required Language : English and Mandarin / Good verbal communication skills in Mandarin to correspondence in all feedback and queries of Chinese speaking customers
