Job summary

A leading underwater operations firm in Singapore is seeking a Diving Supervisor to manage and ensure the safety of onsite underwater operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, hold valid diving and safety certifications, and possess extensive knowledge in diving physics and safety protocols. This critical role requires strong leadership and emergency response skills to effectively manage the dive team and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Supervisory experience required.
• Must possess Ministry of Manpower (MOM) SSDE Diving Supervisor certification.
• Current First Aid certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

To plan, direct and monitor underwater operations onsite. To ensure the safety and competence of the dive team while complying with industry regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments and safety briefings, overseeing equipment usage and maintenance, managing the dive team's qualifications and tasks, and responding to emergencies. This critical role requires extensive experience, strong leadership and detailed knowledge of diving physics, physiology and safety protocols.
