Job Description

We are commencing on a new landmark mixed use development project that will transform a precinct within Gardens by the Bay into a vibrant and future-ready destination. To make it happen, we are searching for an individual to assume leadership responsibility for the project from concept to completion, ensuring delivery that meets strategic, financial and operational objectives.

Reporting to the General Manager (Master Planning), you will liaise with stakeholders and relevant authorities on land and planning/development issues, put up funding proposals, monitor and manage development timelines and budgets, as well as oversee the procurement and management of consultancy and contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and needs, ensuring alignment with Gardens by the Bay's existing identity and design philosophy.
  • Provide executive oversight for the project lifecycle, analyse constraints and opportunities to propose strategies and solutions.
  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of architects, consultants and contractors.
  • Engage with and secure approvals from statutory and government agencies, ensuring regulatory compliances.
  • Drive project planning, budgeting, procurement, contract administration and cost control.
  • Report to Senior Management and Board-level stakeholders on project progress, risks and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate or related discipline. Professional certifications (PMP, RICS, PE, etc.) is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated success in leading large-scale mixed-use development projects.
  • Strong track record in both private sector developments and public sector frameworks.
  • Open-minded, agile and possesses the ability to anticipate and respond to changes positively and effectively.
  • Collaborative with good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be dynamic, self-motivated and a versatile team player to work across boundaries.
  • Sustainability driven to promote strategies to achieve sustainable development goals in social, economic and environmental areas.
