This position is based in Singapore and reports directly to the Head of Asia-Pacific Public Policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and build relationships with SEA policymakers and political figures
• Identify, monitor, and analyze policy issues affecting Roblox in Southeast Asia
• Develop and execute policy strategies around issues important to Roblox
• Assist the wider public policy team on ongoing projects and initiatives
• Advise Roblox internal stakeholders on policy matters as inputs to the development of our products and business operations
• Articulate Roblox’s public policy positions and produce briefing papers and consultation responses
• Be highly supported in your efforts to maintain both a work and personal life, to build your career, and encouraged to take on responsibilities and risks that help you grow

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Media, Technology, or related field of study or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience working with policymakers and stakeholders across Southeast Asia
• Deep knowledge of the Southeast Asia policymaking and public opinion process
• Extensive experience in intelligence collection and analysis, strategy development, project management, cross-functional partnership
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Passionate about public policy issues in Southeast Asia
• A solutions-driven and results-oriented strategic thinker
• A dynamic and engaging presenter with stellar oral delivery
• Detail-oriented, with strong communication, planning and organizational skills
• Self-directed, with the ability to define your own work and processes
• A team player, who values collaboration and partnership
• You are a professional who approaches every individual as a client, regardless of their position, maintaining a calm and demeanor
