The Director, Membership – Alliance Onboarding & Exits, based in Singapore, reports directly to the Senior Director, Membership within the Corporate Strategy Business Unit. This role is responsible for managing processes of integrating new members and managing the departure of existing ones. The director will oversee the seamless integration of new airlines into the alliance, ensuring they are fully enabled and aligned with Star Alliance's Core Values & Standards. This includes coordinating with internal teams and the new members’ integration teams. The role is also responsible for professionally and effectively managing the formal exits or disintegration of member airlines from the alliance. Finally, the director is responsible for the initial evaluation of potential new airlines for alliance membership, which includes assessing their business case and overall relevance to the alliance's value proposition.
