Job description

We're looking for a passionate and hands‑on individual to translate the VP's strategic direction into execution by building and leading a trusted HR data ecosystem across APAC. This role goes far beyond dashboards it's about laying the foundations for clean, governed data, embedding global standards locally, and empowering HR teams and people leaders to make confident, data‑driven decisions. Although this is an individual contributor role to start, it demands leadership through expertise and influence.

You’ll establish the frameworks, shape adoption, and inspire a culture where data is valued, understood, and actively used to drive business and people outcomes. You’ll shape not just what data is delivered, but how it is governed, trusted, and used. By building a strong data foundation and cultivating a data‑driven HR culture, you’ll help create an HR function that is globally aligned, regionally empowered, and confidently equipped to deliver business impact through insights.

Key Accountabilities
  • Deliver under the strategic direction of the VP, focusing on HR functional data and analytics
  • Partner with the VP to ensure HR data frameworks align with enterprise standards
  • Build the HR data governance framework, including business glossary, data dictionary, and quality standards
  • Translate global guidelines into effective local deployment across HR teams
  • Deliver clean, reliable data that enables leaders to make evidence‑based people decisions
  • Establish scalable reporting, analytics, and insights tools that empower HR and the business
  • Equip HR colleagues with the skills and confidence to use data effectively in their work
  • Foster a positive, data‑driven culture where people trust and rely on workforce insights
  • Balance strategic vision with hands‑on delivery setting up from scratch while ensuring adoption
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • 10+ years in HR analytics, workforce planning, or data governance, with leadership exposure
  • Proven track record of building analytics or governance functions from the ground up
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and data (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Hands‑on expertise in analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL; Python/R)
  • Ability to influence and enable diverse stakeholders across global and regional teams
  • Clear communicator who simplifies complex data into actionable insights
  • Business‑first mindset connects data to HR and organizational performance
  • Resilient, collaborative, and solutions‑oriented thrives on rolling up sleeves to deliver
