An international bank in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual to join the Markets Corporate Sales Team. This role focuses on servicing client needs across various asset classes, particularly for MNCs, in the ASEAN region. Candidates should possess over 6 years of experience in financial markets products, excellent communication skills, and some proficiency in Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin. JOB SUMMARY
• We expect the hire to be a core supporting member of Markets Singapore Corporate Sales Team –Specifically, this role is to help service clients in their needs for Markets solutions across asset classes such as FX, Interest Rates and Commodities, with focus on servicing MNCs and RTCs
• Knowledge in Markets products and prior exposure to banking is required
• This role will entail servicing of clients in the ASEAN region, by often coordinating with the other local internal stakeholders. Given Markets regulations and landscape differ from country to country, this role will also benefit in terms building network knowledge and relevant marketing skills operating in the wider ASEAN region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Working closely with regional Markets Sales team to implement and expand the Sales distribution platform for Markets products to Markets clients in the region.
• Follow through with the Sales strategy and align it to SCB’s overall CIB strategies.
• Work closely with other product specialists.
Business
• Awareness and monitoring of market and business environment which our clients and the bank operate.
• As regards the bank, understanding our credit profile and market position to properly sell our abilities and appetite to our client.
• As regards our clients, understand their credit and cash flow position to make appropriate recommendations to credit and protect the Bank and its interests.
• Develop full understanding of a wide range of products and processes.
• Continually develop clients coverage model that optimizes in respective region revenue generation and encourages cross-selling opportunities.
• Provide feedback on the market and the business to clients and internal business partners.
Processes
• Ensure all deal transactions follow the Bank’s internal policies and local regulatory requirements and also the Anti-Money Laundering policies/measures.
• Establish and maintain a network of relationships with key partners in the bank.

• Set good example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations amongst colleagues and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
• Ensure active communication of vision, priorities and progress to the business to foster engagement, awareness and motivation.

• Adherence to all Group Policies and relevant legislation covering credit, operational, reputational risk among others.
