Director of Business Development – Asia

The Director of Business Development supports overall growth in Asia, working closely with the Senior Vice President and the Asia Leadership team to expand AtkinsRéalis current presence in the Industrial and Project & Program Services (PPS) markets and Singapore as the regional hub to achieve the Vision 35 strategic plan.

The role is responsible for leading and executing business development strategies across the Industrial and Project & Program Services (PPS) sectors in Asia. It encompasses client relationship management, marketing and communications, BD team leadership, performance reporting, and strategic growth planning. The role also includes oversight of business development across all sectors in Singapore, with a focus on cross-sector collaboration and cross-selling initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Develop and implement regional business development strategies for Industrial and PPS sectors.
  • Lead cross-sector BD efforts in Singapore, promoting integrated service offerings and cross-sales.
  • Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities across Asia.
Client Relationship Management
  • Maintain and expand relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive engagement and strategic alignment.
  • Support account retention and growth initiatives.
Marketing & Communications
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sector-specific campaigns and materials.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across regions and sectors.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead and manage the Asia BD team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Promote cross-sector coordination, particularly in Singapore.
  • Work closely with sector leads, country managers, and global BD teams to align efforts.
Reporting & Performance Management
  • Track and report on BD performance metrics, pipeline development, and conversion rates.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on market trends and strategic initiatives.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine BD strategies and improve outcomes.
