Job summary

A leading construction and engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Country Manager/General Manager to drive international business growth. The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary teams, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in strategic business development. Responsibilities include sourcing business opportunities, managing client relationships, overseeing accounts, and implementing best practices within the industry. Experience with overseas projects and communication skills with Korean clients are preferred.

Main Roles

Experience and results-driven Country Manager / General Manager with a proven track record of successfully establishing and growing international business operations.

Specialize in market entry, P&L management, and strategic business development in construction and engineering.

Successfully led international business expansion and built relationships with overseas partners.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for sourcing potential new business opportunities in construction consulting.
  • Maintain and expand the client base, attend site show rounds, assess market opportunities in the industry, formulate marketing strategy of the services to be rendered and establish good rapport with prospective clients.
  • Conduct costing analysis to recommend proposed pricing, prepare proposals, work with the Business Development team on the proposal to be presented to the client and present services to prospective clients.
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth running of accounts.
  • Lead implementation of industry best practices, processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for managing the relationship with the client representative.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in Architectural Engineering.
  • Possesses minimum 20 years of experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team in the management and maintenance of commercial buildings, institution buildings, and government buildings.
  • Experience in managing overseas projects.
  • Possesses the relevant network within the industry; strong leadership and client management skills are advantageous.
  • Possibly communicating with Korean Client/Company is preferable.
