Overview
Join us in transforming construction through prefabrication and modular methodologies. As a DfMA Project Engineer – Prefab MEP, you will drive efficiency, quality, and innovation by integrating prefabrication strategies into Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects.
Responsibilities
- 1. Project Coordination & Execution
- Develop and implement execution plans for DfMA Prefab MEP production and installation.
- Coordinate design, factory, and site teams for seamless fabrication-to-installation transitions.
- Review drawings, technical datasheets, BIM models, and method statements for prefabrication alignment.
- Manage material procurement, logistics, and manpower planning.
- 2. Manufacturing & Installation Oversight
- Monitor factory production for compliance with design specifications.
- Oversee site installation and integration with structural elements.
- Apply lean manufacturing and modular construction principles.
- Resolve technical issues, optimize methodologies, and support automation improvements.
- 3. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Conduct inspections and collaborate with QAQC teams to rectify non-conformities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, BCA, and safety regulations.
- Manage QAQC documentation, track inspections, and NCRs.
- 4. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Liaise between project managers, designers, and site teams.
- Participate in coordination meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or a related field.
- BCSS certification.
- Min. 2 years’ experience in construction project coordination, preferably in DfMA Prefab MEP.
- Familiarity with structural and architectural coordination is a plus.
- Fresh graduates are welcomed.
Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Experience with IDD tracking tools (Novade, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.).
- Knowledge of project planning software (Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work 5 days per week.
