Job Duties
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient DevSecOps platforms across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
- Set up, configure, and manage enterprise infrastructure, including provisioning VMs, containers, databases, and cloud resources.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, release, and deployment processes.
- Implement and manage infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.
- Design and build integrations between Common Services, government cloud infrastructure (GCCI), and external systems.
- Deploy and configure monitoring and observability solutions to ensure performance, availability, and reliability of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, infrastructure, and application issues, including on-call escalation support.
- Apply security best practices by integrating vulnerability scanning, system hardening, and compliance checks into workflows.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enforce enterprise governance frameworks and drive DevSecOps adoption.
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field, with passion for automation and secure system design.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, TDD, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
- Proven experience managing high-availability, high-performance, and secure multi-data center or hybrid cloud environments.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go).
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Practical knowledge of DevOps and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and provisioning tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
- Strong understanding of system/network security, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks).
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, etc.).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, cloud security credentials) and experience in regulated/government environments are advantageous.
