About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Trade Finance within the Banking domain. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on expertise in CI/CD pipelines, API integration, and automation across cloud and on‑prem environments. This role demands close collaboration with development, infrastructure, and release teams to ensure secure, efficient, and continuous delivery of high‑quality applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Trade Finance applications.
- Work closely with development teams to support API integrations, versioning, and deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using industry best practices.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security compliance in banking environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis with cross‑functional teams.
- Manage environments across Dev, UAT, and Production, ensuring proper release governance and audit compliance.
- Integrate and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with Trade Finance business and technical stakeholders to align delivery with functional needs.
- Ensure all solutions meet banking security and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10 years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in DevOps roles.
- Mandatory Banking domain experience, specifically in Trade Finance systems.
- Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Solid experience in API development, integration, and management (REST, OpenAPI, Postman, Swagger).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, Groovy, or Bash).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Exposure to application servers such as WebSphere, JBoss, or Tomcat.
- Good understanding of security, access control, and audit frameworks within banking.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Trade Finance platforms (e.g., Finastra, Surecomp, Eximbills, or equivalent).
- Certifications in Cloud (Azure/AWS) or DevOps are a plus.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and API gateways.
