Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the functional areas of the system including Reinsurance and Policy Administration.
• Manage and enhance the Core General application and its customizations.
• Attend trainings relevant to the application being supported.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

SCOPE OVERVIEW

• Working knowledge on the functional areas of the system specifically Reinsurance, Treaties, General Ledger, Debtors and Policy Administration
• Provide support for implemented customizations done for Core Gen Application
• Sustain and maintain modules related to Polisy/Sea as well as to further enhance and optimize existing functionalities of the Core General application.
• Timely resolution and/or delivery of identified customizations for the Core application.
• Build and/or enhance allocated tasks identified by the Tech Lead
• Attend identified trainings relevant to the application being supported
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field;
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT program development with moderate technical skills
• Understanding of IT management framework, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Good communication skills, logic formulation, and development skills.
• Knowledge in mitigating Risk and compliance with pre-defined company guidelines.
• Problem Solving Skills
• Domain knowledge of insurance business systems and operations preferably Polisy System.
• Collaboration and good working relationship with the relevant parties/units to promote continuous improvement and adherences to processes in support of Business.
• Good Interpersonal and Networking Skills.
