A leading IT service provider in Singapore is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to handle IT service management tickets and provide both hardware and software support. Candidates must be Singaporean due to security clearance, with a Diploma in IT or related field and at least 2 years of IT experience. Responsibilities include troubleshooting network issues and documenting resolutions. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred for client communications.

Desktop Support Engineer (SINGAPOREAN ONLY)

Place : Central Region

Basic Salary: $2700~$3000 + Additional Phone Allowances: $50

Contract : 2 years renewable

Working Days & Working Hours : Monday to Friday (8:30am -6:30pm)

Job Scope Description & Responsibilities :
  • Support consists of IT Service Management (ITSM) tickets requests, walk-in, on-site, self-help kiosk, VIP phone, on/offboarding of systems, hardware/software support
  • Address and resolves basic incident, walk in and requests, logs all incidents and requests ; engages Subject Matter Experts to resolve incidents that are beyond the scope of their ability or responsibilities
  • Ensure proper escalation of all tickets to respective departments promptly after gathering the necessary information/ basic troubleshooting done. Critical tickets involving any security related matters or data breached to be escalated within an hour
  • Document resolutions and updates self-help and knowledge base. Grows general knowledge of current IT application and services, increasing ability to resolve requests on first contact
  • Network troubleshooting, both wired and wireless using Fluke testing device
  • Verification of whitelisted USB device and to perform whitelisting of USB device
  • Troubleshooting of hardware problem for PCs and PC peripherals, and reporting to vendor for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
  • Software installation, Elevated Administrator access requirements and Software Security Compliance checking for onboarded/ corporate systems
  • Removal and Secure Erasing of storage media for write off / Secure Token and connectivity issue
  • Password reset for corporate user accounts
  • Expected to move IT equipment with the proper handling tool
Requirements :
  • Strictly open to Singaporean only (Only Local as Security Clearance)>
  • Diploma in IT or relevant discipline.
  • Prefer mandarin speaker to deal with China-speaking clients
  • Minimum have 2 years of IT experience
  • Only IOS and Samsung digital devices are allowed, except China brand Handphone is not allowed.
  • Have IT trained with IT frontline experiences would be advantageous
Position 2 : Field Engineer

Place : West Region

Basic Salary: $2400~$2600 + Additional Shift Allowances: $300

Contract : 1 year renewable

Working Days & Working Hours : 2 days work and 2 days off rotational shift (AM Shift: 8AM to 8PM; PM Shift 8PM to 8AM)

Job Scope Description & Responsibilities :
  • Attend to and perform daily support, maintenance and troubleshooting onsite and offsite
  • Provide on site support for various systems, network and desktop troubleshooting, to ensure that the service meets the SLA
  • To work with product team on any system enhancement or troubleshooting.
Requirements :
  • Diploma in IT or relevant discipline.
  • Open to Nationality who stay in Singapore (Prefer mandarin speaker to deal with China-speaking clients)
  • Prefer experience in desktop support and good working knowledge in Windows OS, Basic Networking. Experience in customer support environment will be advantageous. Good technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills, with strong customer-oriented attitude and inter-personal skills, Willing to travel to multiple sites
  • Willing to work alternate shift hours: 2 days work and 2 days off rotational shift (AM Shift: 8AM to 8PM; PM Shift 8PM to 8AM)
