The Interior Designer will be on design lead projects for across Singapore and Asia Pacific and India, support the growth of our interior design capability.

The roles and responsibilities listed below act as a guide for you to understand the firm's expectations and also help you align yourself accordingly. Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of your seniors and assist them in their requirements
• Review client brief and prepare initial layouts & zoning plans
• Carry out site audits as part of the technical due diligence. Audit for architectural details.
• Have an understanding of key aspects that impact design, including cost, MEP design requirements etc
• Responsible for planning, organizing and directing project activities, workflow, and other day to day activities, to ensure goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget, and other performance targets.
• Day to day responsibility for developing design concepts, based on the programming requirements and budget parameters and coordinating project documentation.
• Assist in quantification for BOQ
• Have good knowledge of materials, products used for interior workspace fitouts
• Research and evaluate new products and solutions that can enhance quality, be cost conscious and are sustainable.
• Participate in pitches and contribute to the concept, design , presentation, data collection etc
• Be proficient in all software tools viz Revit, AutoCAD, Google Workspace, Procore
• Knowledge of at least one of the additional tools like Photoshop, 3D, Sketchup, Rhino, Enscape, InDesign, GIF, animation.
• Review the software tools and work with technology team to improve usage and enhance productivity

Qualifications

• Have an industry recognised diploma or degree in Interior Design, or Interior Architecture with over 5-7 years of extensive experience in designing large interior projects.
• Extensive experience and proven ability in Business Development / Client relationship
• Substantial experience with workplace interiors
• Advanced experience with FF&E>
• Experience with interior design specifications
• Exceptional creative skills, design visioning and innovation
• Expert in all conventional aspects of technical design/architectural principles
• Design and build project experience
• Legally able to work in the country in which the position is based.
